Alison is a Cape Girardeau native of 33 years and attended Cape Girardeau public schools.  Alison received a Bachelor of Science in education and early childhood development from Southeast Missouri State University and taught school for four years.  She then worked with a medical and pharmacy sales company for five years doing business with healthcare professionals accross the country and also has several years experience in large building management and maintenance.  She is a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church where she teaches Sunday school.  She has been actively involved in volunteer work such as Habitat for Humanity, American Cancer Society and fundraising. 
 
Alison and her husband Chris Moorman have two children, Zachary who is nine years old and Max who is 8 months old.  Chris is in the healthcare field and is employed by Cape Neurosurgical Associates. 
 
Alison has a long time family background of construction and realestate and has always had a passion for the business.
